Welcome to MINI CAT COUNTRY, where children are excitedly perceiving and achieving! Our caring team of highly qualified teachers and support staff work unceasingly to create a "Can Do" attitude in our students.

We are pleased to report that we are succeeding! Among other things, we earned a 2005 State Report Card Absolute Rating of Good; received state and county recognitions in 2006 for closing the achievement gap; and made AYP in 2004 and 2005. We anticipate equally good news regarding our 2006 performance. Student growth, both academic and social, occurs at Minnie Hughes as a direct result of effective planning for student progress.
